Test Engineer

Deutsche Börse Prague Branch is hiring a full-time Test Engineer in Prague, Czechia. There is one vacancy, with a salary starting at CZK 90,000 per month. The position is listed for an Employee Card. Your responsibilities will include creating test cases for new product features, developing new test cases and automating existing ones, and conducting exploratory testing of new features and bug fixes. You will coordinate test case automation and coverage with developers and functional analysts, participate in code reviews with a focus on testability, document test results accurately and in detail, and ensure compliance with product testing standards. You should have knowledge of Java or Kotlin, an active interest in software testing, and a desire to work in test development long term rather than temporarily. Intermediate or advanced technical skills in programming and testing are expected, but junior candidates with a passion for testing and concrete programming experience in Java or Kotlin are also encouraged to apply. The role requires strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, the ability to identify and fix errors, the ability to learn quickly and work independently, and knowledge of English. An advantage would be a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field; familiarity with test automation frameworks and libraries such as JUnit, Cucumber or Kotlin.test; and experience as a software tester, test developer or in a similar role. Hands-on experience with GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Grafana and Kibana would also be beneficial, as would experience with event streaming and messaging tools Kafka and RabbitMQ, build tools Gradle and Maven, and an agile environment.
