CCS Česká společnost pro platební karty s.r.o. is seeking an Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Financial Accountant in Prague, Czechia. Responsibilities include issuing sales invoices in Dynamics 365 in accordance with VAT requirements, ensuring tax compliance within assigned areas, allocating customer payments and maintaining accurate receivables records. You will work closely with the finance team to deliver accurate, timely monthly financial reports, support ad hoc analysis and reporting, and drive improvements to Dynamics 365 and cross-departmental automation of receivables processes. You will also manage accounts payable workflows, code invoices to the appropriate general ledger, tax and cost accounts, oversee timely payments and reconciliation, allocate supplier payments in multiple currencies and reconcile supplier accounts. The role also involves developing and maintaining accounting processes with the finance team to meet company objectives and compliance requirements, participating in audits and supporting financial process development projects at Plugsurfing. You will prepare data for monthly international VAT returns for external tax partners, support month-end closing and prepare weekly receivables reports. Candidates need more than two years of accounting experience and a proven track record in receivables management, invoicing, accounts payable, payment processing and posting. Fluent English at a minimum of B2 level is required; German or Swedish is an advantage. Requirements include sound accounting knowledge, accuracy when handling financial data and experience with Dynamics 365, Navision or Business Central; experience with other ERP systems is also welcome. Knowledge of indirect taxes, particularly VAT, and holding or working towards a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent are significant advantages. Candidates should be proactive, solution-oriented, detail-focused, energetic and resourceful, willing to take ownership of tasks and able to adapt effectively to rapid change and uncertainty.
