How do I get around using public transport?

Czech cities have shared tickets for trams, buses and metro. In Prague you can buy tickets in the PID Lítačka app, at machines, or by contactless card in many vehicles. Validate a paper ticket when required, because inspectors give fines. For shift work outside a city, check that early or late connections run before you accept the job.
