What are meal vouchers (stravenky) and meal allowance?

Many employers give a meal benefit, either as vouchers or a meal card (stravenky) or as a cash meal allowance (stravenkový paušál) added to your pay. It is a benefit on top of your wage and is not part of the minimum wage. Ask whether it is offered and how much per working day.
