Commercial Director

Medtronic Czechia s.r.o. is seeking a Commercial Director in Prague, Czechia, with knowledge of public procurement dynamics and GPO/HA partnership models. This is one full-time position with a single-shift work pattern and a salary starting at CZK 366,600 per month. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, healthcare management, public health or a related field; a master's degree or MBA is an advantage. The role requires more than 15 years of experience in strategic key account management, business development, public procurement strategy or healthcare sales. Proven experience managing large, complex clients in both the private and public sectors within GPO and HA organisations is required, alongside strong skills in engaging senior executives and key stakeholders and multi-country experience with hospital systems, public procurement bodies or government healthcare entities. Required expertise includes negotiation, contracting, public procurement frameworks and long-term partnerships, as well as knowledge of healthcare policy, reimbursement systems and public procurement governance. Candidates must demonstrate strategic thinking, excellent analytical skills and experience in structured account planning. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, including experience leading cross-regional initiatives and the ability to influence without formal authority. Excellent financial and commercial acumen is required, including an understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and business case development. Familiarity with CRM systems and analytics platforms is an advantage. Fluency in English and the willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the region are required.
