Description
Oswald Iden Engineering GmbH & Co. KG is recruiting a full-time Prototype Production Planner in Ottendorf bei Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, with an annual salary of EUR 55,000–60,000. The company connects engineering professionals with businesses across northern Germany, focusing on matching people with projects and supporting long-term careers. Its application timeline promises 60 seconds to submit your application and a response within 24 hours.
You will manage planned and production orders in the ERP system, supporting development projects from initial planning through to completed prototypes and gaining insight into innovative vehicle technologies. Responsibilities include coordinating production schedules and repair orders, monitoring material availability and production progress, and working with production, logistics and development teams to identify bottlenecks early. You will document completed production orders, ensure serial-number traceability, and improve processes alongside development, prototype manufacturing and production logistics teams.
You should have completed advanced technician training or a master craftsperson qualification in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics or a comparable technical discipline. Experience in production planning, work preparation or production control is ideal, although initial practical experience combined with motivation to learn about complex development projects is also welcome. Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP R/3, is required; knowledge of REFA methodology is an advantage. Good English skills, organisational ability, initiative, a structured approach, cross-departmental communication, a willingness to take responsibility and availability for occasional business travel are also expected.
Benefits include a permanent employment contract, an attractive salary, 30 days of annual leave and individual allowances. Flexible and mobile working are available where projects allow, alongside a subsidy for the Deutschlandticket or a company bicycle scheme. The company offers varied assignments, training and further education, structured onboarding, support at the start of each project, regular employee and company events, and a respectful working environment with like-minded partner companies.
