Italy Flussi 2027: employers have until 7 December to pre-fill work-authorisation applications
The pre-compilation window for 2027 nulla osta applications under Italy's decreto flussi opened on 23 October and closes at 20:00 on 7 December 2026. Click days follow from 12 January 2027, with 165,850 entries available for 2027.

What is happening now
Under joint circular no. 7185 of 1 October 2026 from the Ministries of the Interior, Labour, Agriculture and Tourism, employers can pre-fill applications for work authorisations (nulla osta) for 2027 entries from 09:00 on 23 October to 20:00 on 7 December 2026. Pre-compilation takes place on the Interior Ministry's Portale Servizi, in the Sportello Unico Immigrazione section. The circular was published in October; the window is still open as of 7 November 2026.
How many places are available
The DPCM of 2 October 2025, which sets legal entry quotas for non-EU workers for 2026–2028, provides 165,850 entries for 2027: 76,200 for non-seasonal employment, 89,000 for seasonal employment and 650 for self-employment.
Forms and click days
The forms are C-Stag agricolo and C-Stag turistico (seasonal work in agriculture and in tourism), B2020 (non-seasonal work in the sectors listed in the DPCM) and A-bis in quota (non-seasonal domestic and care work). Applications can be sent on the same portal from the click days: 12 January 2027 (seasonal agriculture), 9 February 2027 (seasonal tourism), 16 February 2027 (non-seasonal) and 18 February 2027 (domestic and care work). All applications may be submitted until 31 December 2027, subject to the quotas still available.
Practical steps for employers
Identify which form fits each role, gather the employer and worker data needed and complete the pre-compilation before 20:00 on 7 December 2026, then plan for the relevant click day. The nulla osta is only one step of the process; check the later visa and permit steps with the competent authorities. If you recruit through WorkMarket.eu, workers never pay recruitment fees, and every cross-border hire needs individual human review of the worker's situation — no candidate is automatically eligible.
What is still unclear
The official notices we reviewed do not state what happens to applications that were not pre-filled, and they do not list in detail the changes compared with last year; these points are covered in the circular itself, which employers should read in full or check with an adviser. Quotas are limited, so a pre-filled application does not guarantee a place.
